Full Day Wade trips include guiding, full lunch, personal instruction as requested, and transportation to and from our local rivers. Leaders, tippets and other necessary gear can be purchased or rented at the Hungry Trout Fly Shop.

Half Day wade trips include guiding, beverages, personal instruction and transportation to and from the river.

If there is one thing we are not lacking in the Adirondacks it is fishing opportunities. That is why we have an arsenal of crafts to get the job done, no matter the species. We have single man and two man rafts, Jon boats and bass boats loaded with electronics. Smallmouth, Largemouth, Pike, Muskie, Brook Trout, Rainbows or Lake Trout. Float trips offered on the Saranac River and West Branch of the Ausable River.

This package is a two-hour fly fishing lesson, designed for 4 anglers. This is best suited for a family, or small group looking for the fly fishing experience without the commitment of a longer trip. This two-hour intensive covers all the basics, and gets you fully geared up and on the water applying basic fly fishing fundamentals. Our guide house and fly shop are a stone’s throw from the Ausable River, which allows us a private streamside classroom to practice our skills over feeding trout.
